Hi Guys!!!!

It’s so good to here from you! I rec’d your beautiful family Christmas card and you look maaaaaavelous!! Thanks for thinking of me! I’m sitting here in good ol’ ISS tending to a pretty large crowd. It gets a little crazy around Holidays and break time. I guess the little darlings get a little antsy when it’s almost time for a vacation. Lord knows I need one!!!! Actually, it really hasn’t been THAT bad this year. The average number of students I may have is about 3-4. I have 7 today and I’m expecting the same number tomorrow.

I thought of you this summer when our family drove through Louisville on our way home from Virginia. It’s was almost 2 am, so stopping to contact you was NOT an option!! ;-) We tried to find a hotel, but EVERY room from Louisville to almost Evansville, IN was booked. There was some sort of car convention in Louisville and everybody and their mama was there! So we drove the rest of the way home.

I haven’t read your website thoroughly yet, but it’s good to hear you’re settling in and forming new, wonderful relationships and diligently working for the Lord there in KY. You will be richly rewarded!

Today was our annual student/faculty BBall game and the TEACHERS WON AGAIN!!! I was a cheerleader for the 2nd year in a row…..lol! Please send me your email and I can forward you the pics from last year. Mrs. Roper was our photographer and the new ones should be posted soon.

I’ve been terrible with sending cards, so you’re not the only one that hasn’t gotten a Christmas card from me yet. Life is just moving at Mach V speed….. it’s hard to keep up.

I guess I’ll let you go now. I miss you, Miss Christi!!!

Blessings to you and Trent this holy Season!!

Love ya,
Jackie

Trent Dawg (bet you haven’t heard that in a while)! I just got your Christmas card! I’ve moved out of my parents house and my wife and I are living in AZ, so I’ll give you my new address. email me at bcoberly[at]gmail[dot]com and we’ll catch up! You’re looking good dude!

Ben

You two are sooo cute! So glad you came to Louisville and are now working with Cellular Sales. Trent, you are such a great asset and have such a supportive wife!

Take Care … and enjoy the rest of winter!

MAK

Ben, actually…after you gave me that name back in 1994 and I made it my AOL screen name (trentdawg@aol.com – notice, no numbers! it was the early days at AOL), it stuck. Yes, it is even comprises the before@ content of my gmail account. Perhaps it has stuck because I have never quite learned to stop referring to myself in the third person as “the dawg.”

More importantly, you should know how important the kind of friendship showing gesture that kind of name calling really was. I was a dork – you all knew it – and you treated me as one you desired to know Christ. I was a new invite to the church, a freshman, and you and Norrie and Brett and Scottie B and Darren and Roger and Justin and Paul and Mr. Carter and all the others took me in. I still refuse to eat Blue M&M’s! I thank God for you Ben. I will email. Still a dork, but enjoying Jesus – Thank you Ben!

Mac,

YOU are such an encouraging person – certainly one of the most helpful and spirited at Cellular Sales. Thanks for helping get me on my feet there. As for Kristi, yes, she is unusually supportive. God has given me a gift beyond my greatest expectations in her. I thank God for her and for my marriage! As for winter – what winter? No snow yet. No cold weather yet. Is this what Louisville is always like? Stop by here any time and drop us a note.
